Soft and chewy bagels: incredibly delicious

At this point I prepare the filling. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, egg to the cottage cheese and mix. I add a teaspoon of starch or flour and mix everything again.
I divide the finished dough into two parts, round each part and leave it on the table, covered with cling film, for 15 minutes so that the dough becomes softer and more pliable.
Turn the dough over, smooth side down, and roll it out into a thin round layer.

I cut the layer into 8 sectors using a pizza cutter, and put a teaspoon of filling on each.

I form the bagels by gently pulling the dough around the filling.
Place the bagels on a baking sheet and let rise for 30-40 minutes.

Before baking, I mix the yolk with a spoonful of milk and coat the bagels with this mixture. If you like, you can sprinkle some sugar on top.

I bake the bagels in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
