Quick hot dogs from the hot air fryer

Preparation:
Cut the hot dog buns open, but don't cut them all the way through.
Filling:
Spread mustard and ketchup on the buns.
Place a Vienna sausage in each one.
Spread pickled cucumber slices and fried onions over the top.

Cheese:
Sprinkle grated cheese generously over the hot dogs. If you like it extra cheesy, you can add a second layer later.

In the hot air fryer:
Place the filled buns in the insert of the hot air fryer.

Bake at 180 °C in "Bake" mode for about 8 minutes until the cheese has melted and the buns are golden brown.

Serve:
Serve the hot dogs hot and enjoy. It's best to combine them with a crisp salad or a few fries.

🌟TIPS

Variations:Try other toppings such as jalapeños, pickled onions or BBQ sauce.

Vegetarian:Replace the Vienna sausages with vegan alternatives - it works just as well!

Storage:If you have leftovers, you can reheat them in the hot air fryer at 160 °C for 3-4 minutes.
