Our potato and sausage pan combines crispy potatoes, spicy hunting sausages and crispy bacon - all refined with fresh tomatoes, cream and melted mozzarella. Ingredients for the potato and sausage pan:

400 g potatoes, peeled and sliced

Vegetable oil for frying

Salt and paprika to taste

1 onion, chopped

2 garlic cloves, chopped

2 hunting sausages, sliced

100 g bacon, chopped

2 tomatoes, sliced

100 ml cream (20% fat)

100 g mozzarella, grated
Preparation of the potato and sausage pan:

Fry the potatoes: Heat enough vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the potato slices and fry for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Season with salt and paprika to taste.
Sauté the sausage and bacon: Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pan and fry for 2-3 minutes until soft and aromatic. Then add the hunting sausages and bacon and fry both for 5-7 minutes until the sausage is browned and the bacon is crispy.
Layer and gratinate: Spread the tomato slices evenly over the sausage and bacon mixture. Pour the cream over the tomatoes and sprinkle the grated mozzarella on top. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Serve: Once the cheese is melted and everything is well heated, remove the pan from the heat. Garnish the dish with additional paprika if desired and serve hot straight from the pan.
