Healthy Apple Cake without Sugar or Flour

2. Dough Preparation
In a large bowl, beat the egg until smooth.
Add the ricotta and natural yoghurt and mix well until smooth.
3. Assemble the Cake
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Grease and lightly flour a cake tin (or line it with baking paper).
Place a layer of apple slices in the base of the cake tin.
Pour half of the ricotta, yoghurt and egg mixture over the apples.
Add another layer of apple slices and pour the remaining mixture over the top.
Finish with a final layer of apples on the surface.
4. Cooking
Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the surface is golden brown and the cake is cooked through in the middle. If the surface gets too dark during baking, cover it with aluminum foil.

5. Cooling and Serving
Let the cake cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice the cake and serve. It is delicious warm or cold!
