Preparation:
1. Mix warm water, warm milk, sugar and yeast in a large bowl. Leave to rest for 5-10 minutes until the mixture becomes foamy.
2. Add soft butter, salt and 750g sifted flour to the yeast mixture. Work with a wooden spoon or dough hook to form a soft dough. Add up to 800g flour if necessary if the dough is too sticky.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
4. Grease a large bowl with sunflower oil and put the dough in. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and leave to rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
5. Knead the dough briefly and divide into two equal parts. Shape into loaves and place in greased bread tins.
6. Leave to rise for another 30 minutes.
7. Bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
