1οΈβ£ Fry steaks
Salt and pepper π₯© filet mignon on both sides.
Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a pan.
Fry the steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
Place on a plate, cover with aluminum foil and let them βrestβ.
2οΈβ£ Preparation of Boursin sauce
Place the second tablespoon of butter in the same pan and add the mushrooms π. Fry for about 3-4 minutes, until golden brown.
Add the garlic π§ and fry for 30 seconds.
Pour in the white wine π· and let it evaporate slightly (about 1-2 minutes).
Add the cream π₯ and Boursin cheese π§ and stir until the sauce thickens.
Season with salt π§ and pepper and add the thyme πΏ.
3οΈβ£ Combine everything
Place the steaks back in the pan and pour the sauce over them.
Let it cook for another 2 minutes, so that the meat can absorb the flavors.

Serve warm, preferably with fried potatoes π₯ or a fresh baguette π₯.
