1. To start with the milk bread, temper the milk by heating it for a few seconds in the microwave. Dissolve the yeast in the milk.
2. In a bowl, put the flour and yeast with the milk and add the egg and sugar. Knead with your hands little by little until everything is integrated.
3. Once this dough is prepared, add the diced butter and incorporate it into the dough until it is smooth and elastic.
4. Then form a ball with the dough and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in volume (about 1 hour and a half).
5. Cut the dough into balls of about 50 grams each. We place them on the baking sheet covered with baking paper and make a few cuts with a sharp knife.
6. Brush them with egg or milk and let them rest, covered with a cloth, until they are more puffy (about half an hour). While we preheat the oven to 180º.
7. Bake the milk bread for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown. We remove them from the oven and let them cool before consuming them.
