Peel the onion and garlic then chop them. In a casserole dish, heat the olive oil then brown the onion and garlic for 4 minutes. Add the crushed tomatoes, thyme, salt and pepper then cook for 25 minutes (add a little water if necessary). Meanwhile, put the meat in a salad bowl then add the spices and mix well. Then shape into balls of the same size and add them to the casserole and cook for 15 minutes. Serve with cooked pasta.
