Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Arrange in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Sauté garlic in the melted butter for 4-5 minutes, or until lightly browned, stirring frequently. Do not burn.
Stir in rosemary and remove from heat.
Pour garlic butter mixture over the chicken breasts.
Bake for 30-32 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Sprinkle with cheese and bake for an additional 3 minutes, or until melted.
Let chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Serve chicken with a spoonful of the garlic butter sauce.
