Ingredients:
For the Meat Sauce:
450g minced beef (or a mix of beef and pork)
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 x 410g can of crushed tomatoes
30g tomato paste
1 x 410g can of tomato sauce
5g sugar
5g dried basil
5g dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Ricotta Mixture:
425g ricotta cheese
1 large egg
60g grated Parmesan cheese
15g chopped fresh parsley (or 5g dried)
Other Ingredients:
12 lasagna noodles (cooked according to package instructions)
300 g shredded mozzarella cheese
125g grated Parmesan cheese for topping
