Taco Lasagna Recipe

In a large, deep skillet, brown ground beef. Brown all sides over medium-high heat; set aside. Add garlic, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and taco seasoning. Add water, stir, and simmer 10 minutes over low heat.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by greasing the bottom.
Arrange six tortillas in the prepared baking dish. Spoon one-third of the salsa over the tortillas. Spread half of the meat mixture over the salsa. Add half of the scallions and toss to combine. Divide scallions with half of the sour cream. Top with 1/2 cup cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese. Layer more. Spread half of the salsa on top, top with six tortillas, then top with the other half of the cheese.
After 30 to 45 minutes in a preheated oven, the cheese should be melted and the top should be golden brown.
