Sauteed shrimp and green beans

Marinate the shrimp:
1. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with 1 tablespoon soy sauce and a pinch of pepper. Let marinate for about 15 to 20 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.

Blanch the green beans:
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for about 2 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking. Set aside.

Stir-fry:
1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add shrimp:
1. Add marinated shrimp to the pan and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from pan and set aside.

Cook green beans:
1. In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed. Add blanched green beans and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.

Combine:
1. Return cooked shrimp to pan with green beans. Add oyster sauce and sesame oil. Toss until well combined and heated through.

1. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if necessary. Garnish with sliced ​​green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles
