Introduction: Delicioso rondelli are a tasty and simple appetizer that will conquer all palates. Ingredients:

200 g puff pastry
150 g sliced ​​cooked ham
100 g cream cheese (such as Philadelphia)
50 g grated parmesan
1 teaspoon mustard (optional)
1 egg (for brushing)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh aromatic herbs (rosemary, thyme) to decorate
Instructions:

Preparation of the pastry: Roll out the puff pastry on a flat surface. If it is already ready, simply unroll it and prepare it for the filling.

Filling: Spread a uniform layer of cream cheese over the surface of the puff pastry. Add a thin layer of mustard if you want a little extra flavour.

Add the ham: Place the slices of cooked ham on top of the cream cheese. Sprinkle with grated parmesan for extra flavour.

Roll the pastry: Starting from one side, roll the puff pastry up into a cylinder. Make sure the roll is well packed.

Cutting: Using a sharp knife, cut the roll into slices about 2 cm wide to obtain the rounds.

Baking: Place the rounds on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush the surface with beaten egg for a golden colour during baking. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15-20 minutes or until the rounds are golden and crispy.

Serving: Delicioso rounds are perfect served hot, fresh from the oven, as an appetizer or finger food. You can accompany them with a yogurt or mayonnaise-based dip sauce for an even richer taste.
Storage: If you have any leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat them, simply put them in the oven at 160°C for a few minutes.
