Introduction
Peanut Butter Oat Balls are a delicious, nutritious, and easy-to-make snack that’s perfect for any time of the day. Whether you need a quick breakfast on-the-go, a healthy post-workout bite, or a satisfying afternoon treat, these oat balls provide the perfect balance of protein, fiber, and healthy fats. With simple ingredients like peanut butter, oats, and a touch of honey, they offer a natural sweetness without refined sugars. Best of all, they require no baking and can be customized with your favorite add-ins.

Ingredients:

1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1/4 cup ground flaxseed (optional)
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips or dried fruit (optional)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Directions:

Mix the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
Add Dry Ingredients: Add the rolled oats, ground flaxseed, and a pinch of salt to the mixture. Stir until everything is fully incorporated. If you’re using optional add-ins like chocolate chips or dried fruit, fold them into the mixture now.
Form the Balls: Once the dough has come together, take small spoonfuls and roll them into bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter. If the mixture is too sticky, you can wet your hands or chill the dough for a few minutes before rolling.
Chill: Place the rolled balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
Serve: Once chilled, the peanut butter oat balls are ready to serve and enjoy!
Serving and Storage Tips:

Serving: These oat balls are the perfect snack to enjoy on their own or paired with a glass of milk, tea, or coffee. They also make a great addition to lunchboxes or meal prep.
Storage: Store the peanut butter oat balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For longer storage, you can freeze them for up to 2 months. Simply place the balls in a single layer on a baking sheet before freezing, and then transfer them to a freezer-safe bag or container once frozen.
