This homemade lemon soap is simple to make and uses everyday ingredients, offering a natural and refreshing cleaning option.
Ingredients
Base Ingredients:
500 ml water
500 g sugar
70 ml lemon juice (freshly squeezed for best results)
500 ml alcohol (rubbing alcohol, ideally 70%)
Instructions
Prepare the Sugar Solution
In a large pot, combine the water and sugar. Heat gently over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves completely.
Add the Lemon Juice
Once the sugar has dissolved, add the lemon juice to the mixture. Stir well to combine. The lemon juice will provide a natural fragrance and cleaning power.
Incorporate the Alcohol
Remove the pot from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
Slowly pour in the alcohol, stirring continuously to ensure it combines evenly with the sugar and lemon mixture.
