A Fig, Goat Cheese & Pistachio Wreath is an elegant and festive appetizer that blends sweet, savory, and crunchy elements in a visually striking way. Here’s how to make one and elevate your appetizer game for the holidays or any special gathering!
Ingredients:
Fresh figs (about 8-10, depending on size) – sliced
Goat cheese (8 oz, softened)
Pistachios (1/2 cup, shelled and roughly chopped)
Honey (for drizzling)
Fresh rosemary (1-2 sprigs for garnish)
Mixed greens (arugula, spinach, or baby kale) for a base, optional
Balsamic glaze (optional, for extra flavor)
Instructions:
Prepare the Wreath Base:
On a large serving platter, arrange a ring of mixed greens if you want a green base to contrast with the figs and cheese. You can skip this step if you prefer to focus on the wreath's main components.
Form the Wreath:
Spread the goat cheese in a ring shape on the platter. If you’d like to shape it more neatly, you can place the goat cheese on a piece of plastic wrap and mold it into a circle before transferring it to the platter.
Use a spatula to smooth the edges of the goat cheese so it forms a nice wreath shape.
Add Figs:
