With only a handful of ingredients and minimal preparation time, these stuffed strawberries bring a touch of elegance and flavor without the hassle of baking an entire cheesecake. Whether you’re looking for a refreshing dessert or a quick snack, these strawberries will surely satisfy your sweet tooth!
Ingredients:
1 pound fresh strawberries
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup whipped cream (or cool whip)
1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs (optional, for topping)
Directions:
Prepare the Strawberries:
Wash the strawberries thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel.
Slice off the tops of the strawberries and carefully hollow out the center using a small spoon or a melon baller, making room for the cheesecake filling. Set aside.
Make the Cheesecake Filling:
In a medium-sized bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Continue to beat until fully incorporated.
Gently fold in the whipped cream to create a light and fluffy filling. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream too much.
Stuff the Strawberries:
Using a spoon or piping bag, carefully fill each hollowed-out strawberry with the cheesecake mixture, making sure it’s generously stuffed.
Optional Topping:
If desired, sprinkle a little graham cracker crumb on top of each stuffed strawberry to mimic the crust of a traditional cheesecake.
