Ingredients

For the Croissants:

4 store-bought croissants (or homemade if preferred)
1/2 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
1 teaspoon coconut oil or unsalted butter (to smooth the chocolate)

For Decoration:

Edible gold leaf flakes (available at baking supply stores)
Additional melted chocolate for drizzling

Instructions :

Prepare the Chocolate Dip:

Melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil or butter in a heatproof bowl over a double boiler, or microwave in 15-second increments, stirring in between until smooth.

Dip the Croissants:

Cut the croissants in half lengthwise (optional) or keep them whole for dipping.
Dip the tops of the croissants into the melted chocolate, letting any excess drip off.
Place the croissants on a parchment-lined tray to set.

Drizzle with Chocolate:

Transfer some melted chocolate to a piping bag (or a small zip-top bag with a corner snipped off) and drizzle over the dipped croissants in thin, decorative lines.

Add the Gold Flakes:
