Why should you keep rags in the fridge? This unexpected solution will make your life easier!

In truth, these cleaners and environmentally friendly, are made of a highly absorbent material. It is therefore particularly suitable for removing the excess moisture that often accumulates in the refrigerator. Simply place them on the shelves so that they naturally absorb all this moisture, thus promoting better preservation of food products, especially fruits and vegetables.

Please note that shelves are not necessarily suitable for these foods. And this for several reasons: firstly, the refrigerator gets dirty very quickly, so leftover food can spoil or contaminate other products. On the other hand, fruits and vegetables placed on a damp or often wet surface can gradually rot without warning. This is why the solution of cloths turns out to be the most successful.

Especially since the technique is very simple: instead of putting the products directly into the fridge, place them on the cloth. This way, you will avoid any possible contamination by moisture absorption or any overflow of liquid. And it is a great time saver, since you will not need to clean the refrigerator. It will be enough to replace the cloth with another, clean and dry one.
Why should you put a normal sponge in the fridge?

Another very interesting trick that is also worth the detour: putting a sponge inside the refrigerator. How will it be useful? It will help you better organize the products inside the appliance and avoid food waste. Specifically, it will simply serve as an extra shelf, because as everyone knows, there is never enough! As a bonus, you can place above all the products that are likely to spoil quickly.

Did you know that the freezer can hold more than just food?
Few people know, but you can perfectly integrate objects, other than food products, into the freezer. An unusual example? If you freeze your shoes for 24 or 48 hours, you can be sure that you will eliminate bad odors very easily. It is even more effective than simply washing. There is no fear of the sole deforming or coming off. Thanks to its very low temperatures, the freezer is also an effective way to combat mold that sticks to shoes. Who would have thought, just keep them inside for 2 or 3 days to kill all fungal spores.
Similarly, have you ever considered putting your favorite pair of jeans in the freezer? The idea may seem absurd to you, but it is nevertheless sensible. To ensure the longevity of these trousers, experts recommend limiting washing in favour of regular ventilation and a cold environment. It is true that the stains will not disappear as if by magic (you will have to wash it at some point!), but at least you will limit the development of bacteria and bad odours. And that’s not all: low temperatures will help it become more rigid and resistant. It will therefore no longer have a sticky effect, it will not wrinkle easily and it will tend to tear less. Finally, it will be much more flexible.
