In a large bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, salt, and sugar.
In a small bowl, mix the warm water with the yeast and let it sit for 5 minutes, until foamy.
Add the melted butter to the yeast mixture and stir.
Gradually pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture, stirring until the dough forms.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Prepare the Sauce:

In a saucepan, heat the crushed tomatoes over medium heat.
Add the oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Set aside.
Assemble the Pizza:

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
Grease a 10-inch cast-iron skillet or deep-dish pizza pan with olive oil.
Roll out the dough to about 12 inches in diameter and press it into the skillet, making sure it goes up the sides to form a deep crust.
Layer the shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough.
Arrange the pepperoni slices over the cheese, followed by an even layer of the tomato sauce.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake:

Bake the pizza for 25-30 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Let the pizza cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
Tips
Customize Toppings: Add sausage, bell peppers, or mushrooms for a variation on the classic deep-dish style.
