2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
1 clove garlic, minced
Directions
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
Add lime juice, salt, cumin, and cayenne pepper to the avocados. Use a fork to mash the ingredients together, leaving some chunks for texture.
Fold in the diced onion, tomatoes, cilantro, and minced garlic until well combined.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Cover with plastic wrap directly on the surface of the guacamole to prevent browning, and let it sit at room temperature for 1 hour before serving.
Variations & Tips
For a sweeter twist, add diced mango or pineapple to the guacamole. If you prefer a bit of heat, include some finely chopped jalapeño or serrano peppers. For a smoky flavor, try adding a dash of smoked paprika. To make it even creamier, mix in a spoonful of sour cream or Greek yogurt. Remember, the key to a great guacamole is ripe avocados, so make sure they give slightly when pressed.
