Ingredients:

1 Baguette

Butter

2 Avocados

1/2 Red onion, finely chopped

3 Cloves of garlic, minced

2 Tomatoes, finely chopped

Fresh coriander (or parsley), finely chopped

Lemon juice, to taste

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Prepare the Baguette:

Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.

Butter one side of each slice.

Place the slices butter-side down in a skillet over medium heat and cook until golden brown.

Turn the slices around and toast the other side if desired.

Prepare the Avocado Mixture:

Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.

Mash the avocados with a fork until smooth or chunky, depending on your preference.
