Made this tonight and my hubby ate more than half of it

1/2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup lemon-lime soda (like 7-Up or Sprite)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
2. Cut apple into 8-10 wedges.
3. Roll each apple wedge in croissant dough, starting wide end. Place in pan.
4. Melt butter, add sugar and cinnamon. Whisk till thick. Remove from heat, add vanilla.
5. Pour cinnamon mixture over dumplings.
6. Pour lime soda over dumplings.
7. Bake 40-45 minutes till golden.
Cool slightly before serving.
Optional: Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
