1. The Shell Method
This is one of the most common ways to separate an egg white from the yolk.
Steps:
Crack the egg gently in the middle, over a bowl.
Hold the egg over the bowl and carefully separate the two halves of the shell.
Let the egg white drip into the bowl while you transfer the yolk back and forth between the shell halves. As you do this, more egg white will fall into the bowl.
Continue until all the egg white has separated from the yolk, leaving the yolk in the shell.
Tip: Be gentle to avoid breaking the yolk!
