1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan, minced jalapeños, crumbled bacon, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika.
2. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
3. Shape the cheese mixture into a ball. It's helpful to use plastic wrap for easy handling and shaping.
4. On a flat surface or plate, spread out the crushed tortilla chips.
5. Roll the cheese ball in the crushed tortilla chips until it's completely covered.
6. Place the cheese ball on a serving plate and sprinkle the chopped parsley on top for garnish.
7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld and the ball to firm up.
8. Serve with your choice of crackers, vegetable sticks, or additional tortilla chips.
Variations & Tips
For a spicier version, leave some jalapeño seeds in your mix or add a dash of cayenne pepper. If you enjoy smoky flavors, incorporate finely chopped smoked Gouda instead of cheddar. Vegetarian guests? Simply omit the bacon and instead incorporate sun-dried tomatoes or diced bell peppers to retain that savory depth. An added twist can include incorporating finely chopped chives along with parsley for added freshness.
