Vegan Whole Wheat Bread Recipe

Once the dough comes together, transfer it to a lightly floured surface. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. If using a stand mixer, knead the dough on low speed for the same amount of time.
Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a lightly greased bowl. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let the dough rise in a warm, draft-free area for about 1-2 hours, or until it doubles in size.
Once the dough has risen, gently punch it down to release the air. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and shape it into a loaf shape.
Place the shaped dough in a greased loaf pan, cover it with the kitchen towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise for another 30-45 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake the bread in the preheated oven for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until it turns golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the loaf pan for a few minutes. Then transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
