2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Season the sea bass fillets with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and dried thyme.
Heat the olive oil in a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the fillets for about 3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
Brush the honey Dijon glaze over the fillets, coating them generously.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 5-7 minutes, or until the fish is flaky and cooked through.
Serve immediately, drizzling any remaining glaze from the pan over the fillets.
Variations & Tips
For a bit of spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the glaze. If you like a more herby flavor, consider incorporating fresh dill or parsley into the glaze instead of thyme. For those who enjoy a fruitier taste, adding a bit of orange zest will provide a nice citrusy touch to the overall flavor profile.
