Quick Maple Bars Recipe

Fry the flattened biscuits in the hot oil for 1-2 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
Make the Maple Glaze:

Combine brown sugar, butter, milk, and corn syrup in a saucepan.
Cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to bubble slightly.
Remove from heat and stir in maple extract.
Gradually whisk in powdered sugar until the glaze is smooth.
Glaze the Bars:

Dip the top of each bar into the warm maple glaze.
Let excess glaze drip off before placing bars on a wire rack to set.
Serve and Enjoy:

Serve warm or at room temperature.
