Pecan Cheddar Cheese Ring with Strawberry Preserves Recipe

Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup softened cream cheese, and 1/2 cup mayonnaise; blend until smooth.
Season: Add 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, and a pinch of cayenne pepper (optional); mix well.
Shape Ring: Transfer the cheese mixture onto a serving dish, molding it into a ring shape with a hollow center.
Toast Pecans: Toast 3/4 to 1 cup pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden and fragrant, then chop finely.
Coat with Pecans: Press the toasted and chopped pecans onto the outer surface of the cheese ring.
Add Preserves: Spoon 1 cup strawberry preserves into the hollow center of the cheese ring.
