Herb-Crusted Beef Tenderloin with Sauce

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
Rub the beef tenderloin with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
Place the tenderloin on a rack in a roasting pan and roast for 25 minutes for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
For the sauce: In a saucepan, combine beef broth, and shallot. Bring to a boil and reduce by half. Whisk in butter and season with salt and pepper.
Slice the beef and serve with the sauce.
