Mix flour, yeast, sugar, egg, milk, salt and 20g of butter in a bowl. Knead until you obtain a smooth consistency.
Roll out the dough into a circle approximately 40cm in diameter.
Divide the additional butter into 9 parts of 11g each. Place them on the rolled out dough.
Fold the dough over the butter, creating layers. Cut into 9 parts (about 60g each) and shape into a croissant.
Place in the oven at 200Β°C for 10 minutes, then at 180Β°C for 6 minutes.
