1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup mini chocolate chips
Directions
Prepare and bake the brownie mix as per the package instructions. Allow the brownies to cool completely.
While the brownies are cooling, make the cookie dough. In a medium bowl, beat together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fully combined and creamy.
Add the milk and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until everything is well combined. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
Once the brownies are cooled, cut them into small squares, about 1-inch each.
Take a small scoop of cookie dough, flatten it in your hand, and place a brownie square in the center. Wrap the cookie dough around the brownie, rolling it into a ball. Repeat for all brownie squares.
Chill the brownie bombs in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving to let the flavors meld together.
Variations & Tips
For a fun twist, you can use different types of brownie or cookie dough mixes, like peanut butter or white chocolate macadamia nut. You can also add a chocolate coating: melt some chocolate chips and dip the chilled brownie bombs, letting them harden for an extra rich treat. If you're looking to cut back on sugar, consider using dark chocolate chips or a sugar substitute in the cookie dough.
