Probably the perfect version of this idea I've ever made, it's heavenly

1 tablespoon fresh thyme, finely chopped
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
1. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, thyme, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
2. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
3. Transfer the butter mixture to a piece of plastic wrap or parchment paper.
4. Roll the butter into a log shape and twist the ends to seal, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
5. When ready to serve, slice the butter into rounds and place on top of your hot steak, allowing it to melt and impart its flavors.
