Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease an 8-inch springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

In a large bowl, beat butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until smooth. Mix in vanilla extract and heavy cream, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
5. Assemble the Cake:

Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread a thin layer of frosting on top.
Carefully place the chilled cheesecake layer on top of the frosted cake layer.
Spread another layer of frosting on top of the cheesecake layer.
Place the second cake layer on top. Frost the top and sides of the cake with remaining frosting.
Sprinkle crushed honeycomb candy on top of the cake. Drizzle with honey, if desired.
6. Serve and Enjoy:

Chill the cake for at least 1 hour before serving to set.
