Potato patties filled with melted cheese, delicious to eat

Boil the potatoes for about 20 minutes, rinse, peel, press through the potato press.
Peel the onion and garlic, dice finely, sautΓ© in butter. Divide the processed cheese/feta cheese into eight pieces.
Add the eggs, potato starch, onion and garlic cubes to the potatoes, knead well, season with salt, pepper and thyme. Form eight meatballs from the mixture, press a piece of cheese into the middle of each, and cover well with the potato mixture. Heat oil in a pan and fry the potato patties on both sides until golden brown.
Serve with a mixed salad, cucumber or green bean salad or braised cherry tomatoes.
