7 cups Rice Krispies Cereal

10 ounces large marshmallows

14 ounces Kraft caramels

14 ounces sweetened condensed milk

2 tablespoons butter

Instructions:

Prepare for Assembly: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to set your finished balls on.

Melt the Caramels: In a medium saucepan, combine the caramels, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Heat these ingredients over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Coat the Marshmallows: Once your caramel mixture is ready, use a toothpick to dip each marshmallow into the caramel sauce, ensuring it’s evenly coated.

Roll in Cereal: Immediately roll the caramel-coated marshmallows in Rice Krispies cereal until well covered. Place each ball on the prepared baking sheet.

Set to Cool: Once all marshmallows are coated and rolled in cereal, remove the toothpicks and allow the balls to set on the parchment paper for about 30 minutes. This will help them hold their shape and keep the caramel from being too sticky when served.

Serving Suggestions: These Rice Krispie balls are fabulous on their own or paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra special treat. For a festive touch, sprinkle some colored sugar or drizzle with chocolate before they set.

Enjoy these Caramel Marshmallow Rice Krispie Balls at your next gathering, or simply whip up a batch to have a delightful treat on hand that’s sure to bring back sweet memories and create new ones.
