Lately I've been thinking about our electric bills, especially after finding out that our home's water usage is significantly higher than average. According to statistics, a person usually uses about 5 cubic meters of water per month, but our numbers were different.
It all started when I posted about how I contacted the water authority about a false receipt that said we used 140 cubic meters of water in a month. The error was corrected and it turned out that our actual consumption was 47 cubic meters, which seemed incredibly high for three people.
Thinking about this, I decided to check for myself how our meter worked. I did it in a simple way: I remembered the last digit of the meter, poured three liters of water into a glass and checked the changes. The measuring device worked perfectly.
